Ryley Grunenwald / Johannesburg

Ryley Grunenwald has traveled through most of Africa as a filmmaker. After earning an honours degree specializing in Motion Picture she went on to win Golden Horn (SAFTA) and MNET EDiT awards. She is managing director of Marie-Vérité Films, which focuses on delivering engaging documentary content to the international market, and she is a board member of South Africa’s Documentary Filmmaker’s Association. She lives and works in Johannesburg. After several years as a cinematographer, The Dawn of a New Day (2011) was Ryley Grunenwald’s debut as director and producer. She is currently working on Sands of the Skei Queen. Manu.html
